Ryan's first letter from the MTC:

Hey familia! I have a great companion, Elder Joy. Everyone keeps punning on his name, but I made sure not to. I left the recipe book home on purpose. Life here is hectic. Every minute is planned, but thankfully there is some time to study and rest. My RLS is lessening a bit, I feel. During class though, I still move. The first night, one of the other dormmates snored all night and I got about 3 hours of sleep. I did get an hour nap later that morning and bought earplugs, which helped. I am learning a lot here, and it can be really weird trying to teach. My P-day is next Thursday, so that's when I can write more. Hope everyone is surviving without me.
